GREGORY TARGHEE 26 BACKPACK
The basis is the innovative Vertflex back system. It is rigid enough to hold even heavy loads in a stable position. And it's also torsionally flexible enough to move with your back as you climb or descend a steep chute. Together with the hip belt and padded shoulder straps with an insulated hydration sleeve and a chest strap with an integrated safety whistle, it forms a complete, well-fitting back system. The material of the back system is mechanically resistant, waterproof and surface treated so that snow does not stick to it.

The hip belt is shaped to work with the seat and includes a zipped pocket on one side and a loop for hanging carabiners on the other.
Whether you attach skis diagonally or in the shape of the letter "A" to the sides of the backpack (up to 130 mm on the heel), snowboard, snowshoes, helmet or ice axes on the front of the backpack, you still have easy access to vital things such as a probe and a shovel. The pocket for avalanche safety equipment itself is very practically located, reachable no matter how the skis are clamped.
The clips for fastening the skis are made of solid aluminum and work well even with gloves.
The main compartment is accessible through a detachable back panel. This is a very practical matter, the entire contents of the main compartment of the backpack are right in front of you. No more hauling things up mountains to get to what's at the bottom. Photographers will also like this system, as it speeds up access to photographic equipment. In the upper part of the backpack there is a large pocket for glasses and other small items. Another zipped pocket with a carabiner for keys is hidden in this pocket.
A pocket for a hydro bag is also practically solved, from which a tube is cleverly led, up to the right shoulder strap, in which it is well insulated up to the Piace mouthpiece against freezing of the liquid.
The bottom panel is double-layered to ensure maximum mechanical resistance.
A strip of very durable Cordura 1000D fabric runs diagonally across the front panel of the backpack, which protects this sensitive part of the backpack from damage.
Made from fabrics using recycled content, resulting in a 40% reduction in carbon footprint compared to conventional nylon material.
